The 2009 World Series of Poker is getting a lot of attention, even more so than in recent years. More and more people are paying attention to the current standings so, in the spirit of keeping with all the current poker trends, we are going to take a look at some of the latest standings, plays, and flubs, going on in Round 6 of the 2009 WSOP.
Quite a lot of big name players have been moved to the Amazon Room, including Phil Hellmuth, Jerry Yang, and John Juanda. Erica Schoenburg was eliminated today, as were Maridu Mayrinck, Praz Banzi, and T. J. Cloutier.
After winning a hand in the Amazon Room this round, Phil Hellmuth won a hand. Based on the latest standings I’ve been able to find, right now he has approximate 9,500 or so.
Speaking of standings, let’s take a look at how a few of the big names in the tournament are doing:
Nick Binger has 19,300. Brandon Cantu’s got 14,400. Bertrand — Elky — Grospellier isn’t that far behind with 13,000. Liv Boeree has 8,200 and Nam Le stands at 5,300.
